Three Free Sites to List Your Next Event

The next time you plan an event in your community, try these sites to help boost your local attendance. These tools are free and tend to apply to a broad range of interests and attendees. If you are looking to attract a crowd for a particular niche, try a few Google searches to target your audience.

  1. Yahoo! Upcoming - Events and things to do in your area.
  2. Yelp - Things to do around you - Concerts, Festivals, Art, Film & More
  3. Zvents - Zvents is a free search engine where you can search for what to do by location, time, or event type. Search Zvents to find things to do and promote events such as concerts, sales, festivals, live music, and other things to do near you.

This is a good excuse to use (or create) your Facebook Fan Page, Twitter and Blog to broadcast your event information to folks who already know you.
